Saturday:
Day: The Empire Strikes Back: Indian Art Today, The Saatchi Gallery - Over 20 artists from India including leading Indian artists, Huma Bhabha and Subodh Gupta. In the past The Saatchi Gallery has featured works from China and the Middle East so this is the latest display of art, most of which has never been exhibited in the UK.
Night:
We, Like You, Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes - Playing everything from Hip Hop to Soul to Funk, We, Like You is one of the best ways to spend your Saturday night. This Saturday there will be a guest DJ set by Hot Chip as well as free popcorn, people hula-hooping and a cinema room in case it all gets too much.
Sunday:
Day: The East End Thrift Store, Watermans Building Assembly Hall – This is not like any other vintage clothing store, note the use of the word ‘thirft’ rather than ‘vintage’, meaning that everything there is around the £10 mark and not much more.
Night:
Brixton Comedy Club, Dogstar – Comedians including Inder Manocha, Rosie Wilby, Lewis Schaffer and Jason Patterson take to the stage to easy you back into the week with a night of solid comedy.
