Tube Chaos Hits Morning Commuters
If you were trying to travelling around North West London this morning on the tube the chances are you were left stressed out and silently swearing to yourself as travel chaos once again his the London Underground.
Thanks to a combination of weekend engineering works finishing late and signal and failures much of the areas network was down causing huge problems for commuters trying to get to work. Nearly half the entire network (five lines) were disrupted with part closures and delays on the Jubilee, Bakerloo, Piccadilly and Metropolitan lines leaving thousands of commuters stuck and unable to continue their journeys.
As if that wasn’t a bad enough start to the week there were also problems in South London this morning with problems on the Victoria line after a signal failure in the Brixton area.
