Tommy Nutter Rebel On The Row
This new exhibition looks at the life work of Tommy Nutter, tailor of Saville Row
Nutters tailors opened in 1969 on Saville Row and offered a new era in tailoring for men. Up to the minute styling was combined with classic techniques and a new brand that set alight Saville Row was born. The first shop was finaced by Cilla Black, James Vallane White and Peter Brown and catered mainly to rock starts, artists and aristocrats.
This exhibition explores the Nutters style, marketing and clothing and is held at the Fashion and Textile Museum, Bermondsey.
