Sunday lunch? : The Paradise
The Paradise by way of Kensal Green is a brilliant option for Sunday lunches, it’s brilliant for any day of the week really. And now that the sun seems to be returning again you can make full use of it’s garden and decked terrace. A truly beautiful pub brought to you by the same people that look after the Old Queens Head and Camden Blues Kitchen. The pub has the atmosphere of a comfy house, it even has a library. With plenty of rooms and room in general you shouldn’t have a problem finding a table. There is a separate bar altogether upstairs that includes a piano and further along the hall a pool table, so a perfect opportunity to make Sunday lunch turn into Sunday afternoon lazy entertainment.
Sunday lunch is served from midday till 9pm and includes all the usual offenders with a couple of extras – duck, pork, chicken and lamb. A full on roast with all the trimmings will set up back about £15.00 on average, there is also a large range of comfort food on offer too for a lighter budget.
If you want to go all out and you find yourself waking up to a flat full of crashed out friends from the night before you can book a private dining room and ‘host your own roast’ the thought of which makes us pretty excited. One thing though, if you do choose this option- can we have an invite please?
