Our friends at Future Shorts put on a Secret Cinema event once a month. So secret is the event that, as much as we would love to tell you when the next one is and what will be showing, we can’t.

There is no information as to when the next one will take place on the site, so secret is the event, there is just the option to sign up to be told of news. Locations vary from month to month including anything from derelict theatres and rooftops to city farms and five star hotels.Much the same the theme of film also varies. See when Secret Cinema did Bugsy Malone below. There are always surprise rescores and special guests. A real treat  when looking for an alternative to your nearest odeon.

It seems that the traditional large screens are beginning to loose their all star sparkle to the excitement of never knowing what is in store and being able to get fully involved in the whole experience of the film you are watching.
