Robert Pattinson lands lead role in Cosmopolis
It would appear that Robert Pattinson (or R-Patz to his more over-familiar fans) is doing everything he can to ensure a credible future for himself after his days of playing Edward Cullen in the Twilight series are behind him and that includes landing a role as the lead in David Cronenberg’s next film, Cosmopolis. Robert Pattinson will play the role of Eric Packer, a financial genius who plays around with the international money market and after betting against the Yen is targeted by some enemies who then go on to try to hunt him down. A large part of the film is set to take place over a 24 hour period which sees Eric Parker trying to avoid his stalkers and also cheating on his wife. It was previously rumoured that Colin Farrell would take the lead.
