Peoples Book Shop at the New Gallery
Any of you Jackers ever get the yearning to replenish your coffee table eye candy with some fresh arts mags and books but toddle down to borders to find their so damn expensive?
Well the kind people at the New Gallery are opening its arms to invite Jackers to its first peoples bookshop.
What is this we here you say, no its not a stuffy library full of uncherished Enid Blyton novels, but a workshop which invites people to bring in your well thumbed art/fashion/graphics magazines and books, posters or prints for swapping and selling.
You price them and sell them so receive all of your sales into your back pocket, and shelve space is free.
This swapping selling affair is on Friday and you don’t have to be a seller to buy or jut have a browse, doors open at 930am and runs till 11pm, with refreshments available throughout the day.
An opportunity to make some extra beer monies and pick up some inspiring new aesthetic materials? One Jack wouldn’t want to turn down.
