Oh Land: The Danish Lady, Wolf & I
Oh Land, or as she is known to her family, Nanna Oland Fabricius once dreamed of being a prima ballerina until her hopes were dashed due to a spine fracture. After this Nanna decided to go down the electro pop route and we’re glad she did. With mixings of Bjork, Lamb and a bit of native American spirit her music can pull strings with most whether it is the fast sporadic dancy beats, the haunting voice of the feeling of mountains and space that draws you into her music once you find your string you’ll want to gather them all. Which is exactly what we have tried to do. Now proud owners of her first album, Fauna we are awaiting her next and first major label offering on Epic Records. The new album entitled Oh Land was produced by Depeche Mode collaborator Dave McCracken and should be hitting our computers around April time. What a long wait.
In the mean time hear track, Wolf & I below.
