New £50 Note Launched
It’s a pretty rare occasion when we want or can afford to have a £50 note in our purses/wallets but for those of you that a brand new £50 note has been launched.
For the first time the updated note will contain a moving image for the first time as well as a broken green line that runs from the top to the bottom of the note and images of the £ symbol and the number 50 which move up and down when the note is tilted.
The last snazzy new feature is a portrait of the 18th century business partnership James Watt and Matthew Boulton, the first time two portraits have ever appeared on a Bank of England note.
