Minus 99 Please
Yes, we know it is looking more like mid-winter than mid-summer at the moment, but every Jacker likes a yummy ice cream to cool off with in the heat.
So we thought it was only right to inform you of this new type of super cool ice cream, so cool it is served at minus 99 degrees.
Just round the corner from the Jack offices in Camden Lock you can treat yourself to a frozen treat, at Chin Chin laboratorists in Camden Lock, you can get your first taste of ice cream that is made using pure liquid nitrogen.
The temperatue isn’t the only cool thing about it either, it contains half the fat and sugar of ordinary ice cream, and the menu of unusual flavours are rotated weekly and announced via Twitter, currently on rotation is basil and saffron. mmmm.
The ice cream is made my mixing creme with boiling nitrogen at a temperature of minus 196.7C, prooving it is never too cold for an iced treat.
