Maybe Don’t Feed The Birds
Two pensioners in Britain have been given anti-social behaviour orders after they allegedly attracted too many pigeons to their local area.
Wiltshire council claims Danuta Rogowa, 75, and Margaret Ann Reynolds, 69, fed the birds each day in their local town of Trowbridge and refused to stop doing so.
A spokesperson said the waste created by the birds has led to a “slip hazard on pavements”.
They were quoted by the BBC as saying: “The cause of the pigeon problem was attributed to the excessive feeding of pigeons by three individuals.”
The ASBOs prevent the women from purchasing more than 3kgs of bird food or over three loaves of bread per day to throw outside their home.
