Massive Attack Collaborate With Scarlett Johansson
Hands up who thinks this is the most random collaboration in a long time…
Last year Massive Attack ended seven years of silence with their album, Heligoland, and now they have teamed up with Hollywood actress, Scarlett Johansson for a new track which Johansson has recorded vocals for. The track is called Summertime and will feature as the main track for a new Mexican film called Days Of Grace which was recently premiered at Cannes Film Festival.
This isn’t the first time the actress has tried her hand at singing, she previously released an album of Tom Waits covers called, Wherever I Lay My Head, in 2009. Other than recording the track Massive Attack are keeping a fairly low profile at the moment and there is no news on any new releases from the Bristol based group.
