Launch Of New Vue At Westfield and A Bit Of The Wolfman
Last night Who’s Jack were down at the launch of the new Vue cinema in Westfield shopping centre, champagne and canapees in hand. During a tour of the cinema’s screens (and their Ben & Jerry’s counter which we weren’t allowed to sample) we saw what is no doubt going to be the future of cinema. The new Vue complex included digital screens the size of four double decker buses, leather seats with a VIP section with more leg room than a first class flight and picture quality that, unlike none digital screening, ever fades or suffers.
After watching trailers for Toy Story 3 and Shrek 3 in 3D and getting far too excited about free ice cream and popcorn we settled into our leather seats to watch the new Wolfman film. Although it was hard to get the thought our of heads that he was the spitting image of the Crack Fox from The Mighty Boosh. A little disturbing.
The Vue at Westfield is open from today so make sure you go down and check it out people. Disappointed, you wont be.
