Lana Del Rey Cancels Tour?

If rumour is to be believed Lana Del Rey has cancelled her up coming March tour following a disastrous performance on Saturday Night Live which saw fans and critics alike doubting her singing abilities.

According to reports the singer has cancelled the 30 date tour with a source saying, ‘[Lana] and her manager decided to cancel [the tour] after SNL. She was very upset… They figure [more time] allows time for her to clear her head, then go back to selling tickets. More importantly, they figure, the extra time gives them more distance from SNL.’

Despite the fact her debut album, Born To Die, shot straight to the top of the charts last week the singer has still been met with some rather negative reviews and it seems like the pressure may be getting too much for her. While the rumours haven’t been confirmed yet it wouldn’t come as a massive surprise if she’s decided to take some time out to win back favourite with fans.

UPDATE:

A statement has been released from her rep dismissing rumours saying “There has never been a spring tour announced or cancelled.”
