James' Movember adventure: Week 1
Hello, my name is James Lynch, Who’s Jack music reviewer, writer and interviewer and gentleman.
In support of my fellow gentlemen and particularly those affected by the most common cancer among men, prostate cancer, I am celebrating Movember.
Movember challenges men to grow a moustache throughout the month of November in order to raise awareness and funds to fight against prostate cancer and care for those who suffer from it.
There are four rules that must be followed by those taking part in Movember; 1. You must start growing your moustache from clean shaven on the 1st November, 2. Your sideburns must not meet your moustache (that is considered a beard), 3. Your moustache must not meet under your chin (that is considered a goatee) and 4. You must conduct yourself in a gentlemanly fashion throughout Movember.
My first week of manly hair-growing is complete and you can see how I did in these pictures. Witness my glorious transformation from cold-cheeked snadpaper face to slightly pervy looking moustachioed charmer in a matter of only 7 days!
I shall be keeping you all up to date with my hair-growing right here on the Jack blog as the month progresses and we will also be subjecting my moustache to a series of gruelling and highly scientific tests as Movember continues.
