On their website XOYO boasts that it is ‘more than just a venue’ holding live music, club nights, cultural events and art exhibitions.
Opened in 2010 by John ‘Johnno’ Burgess (Bugged Out!), acid house innovator Cymon Eckel, founder of Field Day Marcus Weedon and Tom Baker (Eat Your Own Ears) XOYO has a Victorian loft style feel to it and has a high-ceiling basement where much of the live music takes place with a gallery space upstairs.
