The 100 Club
The 100 Club has been promoting live music on the same premises since 1942 and has become one of London’s most iconic music venues with acts like Sir Paul McCartney, Oasis and Muse all performing at the intimate venue.
Having previously been played at by primarily jazz and blues artists in it’s earlier life The 100 Club was put on the indie map when, during what was a tough time for the venue, Suede decided to play a showcase gig there in 1992. In more recently times the venue went through a touch period when it looked like it shut down due to soaring rental prices however a whole host of some of the music industries biggest names got together, started a petition and the venue was eventually brought by out by shoe brand Converse.
