Sophie’s Steakhouse

Combining a bustling bar with a restaurant has meant that Sophie’s Steakhouse has created the type of buzzing atmosphere not usually associated with steak restaurants. Sophie’s decor is very much New York warehouse and is a good place to pop in for lunch, a cocktail or a proper sit down dinner.

It’d be silly not to go to Sophie’s and try one of their steaks so Jack recommends the 100oz fillet which they boast as the most tender cut of meat or the prime rib steak sandwich toasted sourdough with baby gem, sliced beef tomatoes & mustard mayonnaise. If steak doesn’t float your boat then they also have a good selection of salads, fish and pies.

It’s also worth signing up to their mailing list over because they often send out good deals such as discounts and free bottles of prosecco. Though be warned that they don’t take table reservations and evenings do get busy so arrive early or late for a certainty of a table.
