Roast

Set above an always bustling Borough Market Roast enjoys views all the way over to Saint Pauls and, for people watching the streets below.

Known for their roast dinners of course Roast is not to be overlooked for its excellent mains.

Piano music filters over the surprisingly constantly busy main room as impeccably smart waiters usher around with steak knives bread and orders.

Roast offer a number of their own beers including a Roast Pilsner which we tried and would most likely buy to take away with us, as well as an extensive wine list.

Our recommendations would be the pork belly with apple sauce and mash which just melts away as you cut it and the Dorset crab and grilled cheese starter. A tip though, portions are large here and the food amazing so don’t get too over excited and gobble down a huge starter before your main, you will most likely, like us become a little defeated but force yourself on as it’s so good leaving you feeling full for days.

Still, that’s surely a testament to an amazing chef.
