Gilgamesh

Up a flame guarded escalator above Camden Market is Gilgamesh, quite unlike the hectic market below.

Gilgamesh is one of our favourite restaurants in London. With all the wood for the walls, tables and chairs intricately carved and staff that are always impeccably lovely it is a clear winner.

Food is pan Asian in genre and a mix of sushi and curries that are just perfect. The Mr Chang roll is by far our favourite, as well as the salmon sashimi that comes on a smoking bed of dry ice.

Gilgamesh has also recently introduced their seafood bar that includes oysters and seafood platters that are fresh and on show in a back bar of the restaurant. Alongside this there is a new duck pancake trolley that comes around during the evening offering perfect pancakes with plum sauce to accompany any meal.

A perfect venue for parties and celebrations due to the unusual interior complete with palm trees. Gilgamesh also has a relaxed yet impressive bar with a great cocktail selection.
