Bonnington Cafe

The Bonnington Cafe is tucked away in SW1 and a real gem of a cafe.

A co-operatively run vegetarian and vegan cafe/restaurant in Vauxhall that is a real hidden London special.

The Café was first opened in the early 80′s as a squat Café providing a good cheap meal to anyone in the community that needed it.

No single person runs the restaurant, a collective runs the show and cooks are open to change and involvement from anyone that’s interested.

The cafe is and always will be ‘committed to providing excellent vegetarian home-cooking at great prices in a laid back and friendly bohemian atmosphere.’

The Bonnington is an unlicensed premises which means you can bring your own and they don’t charge corkage.

You can get involved in cooking at the Café, just attend one of their cafe user group meetings which are held on the 1st of every month at 6pm (sharp).
