BFI
Established in 1933, The BFI or British Film Institute sits on the South Bank in London.
BFI Southbank (previously the National Film Theatre) screens over 1,000 films a year and The BFI IMAX has the largest cinema screen in the UK. With an ongoing programe of events that include film festivals, director tributes, exhibitions, as well as current cinema listings, activities more the BFI promotes understanding and appreciation of film and television heritage and culture.
Around The BFI and along the South Bank you will find a number of other attractions including markets, galleries and plenty of restaurants not to mention the view.
