Barbican

The Barbican was built in the 1980′s as a gift to the nation from the bankers and financiers of London (wouldn’t it be nice if things like that happened today?). Today the Barbican is the biggest performing arts centre in Europe and prides itself on music and theatre as well as an eclectic visual arts programme. Barbican is also home to the London Symphony Orchestra
