Fun things to do this weekend and where to do them

A Celebration of Frank Zappa, Dweezil Zappa & The Mighty Boosh Band, The Roundhouse: If you’re up for a bit of a bizzare music experience this weekend then The Roundhouse in Camden is your place on Saturday night. To celebrate the life and music of Frank Zappa with his son Dweezil who is going to be supported by The Mighty Boosh’s Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt. Tickets cost £35 from the Roundhouse website.
Another Year, various cinemas: Mike Leigh’s latest film offering Another Year has been getting rave reviews since it’s release earlier this week so Jack suggests that those of you who are too hungover to function on Sunday head down to your local cinema to check out a film about the family & friends of an aging couple names Tom and Gerri.
Ride, Proud Galleries: This Saturday night sees the launch of Ride the latest night to be hosted at Proud Galleries in Camden. There will be a live horse show to kick of proceedings and the main room will be completely transformed with a sexy and dark equestrian theme complete with fresh-cut grass flooring. There will also be unusual performers from centaurs, horse-headed live art performers, stilt-walkers and even strapping muscle-men to the South Galleries naughtier side. Bizzare but could be amazing.
