Faberge Egg Hunt In London
We mentioned this a little while ago, but now the Faberge sponsored, Big Egg Hunt is upon us with an amazing egg hunting prize of a Faberge Egg worth £100,000 that was put on show at the jeweller’s central London boutique.
The egg in question is a Diamond Jubilee rose gold egg that is decorated with 60 gemstones, including diamonds, emeralds, rubies and sapphires, one for each year of the Queen’s reign.
The egg hunt started yesterday. If enough people get involved it will no doubt turn into the world’s biggest egg hunt ever!
There are more than 200 eggs, decorated by famous names including Bruce Oldfield, Sir Ridley Scott and Zandra Rhodes, scattered and hidden across London.
Anyone can enter and get egg-hunting to win the golden prize. All you need do is text a keyword found on each egg to 80001. There is one entry for each keyword texted.
The hunt is raising funds for charities Elephant Family and Action for Children and the decorated eggs used in the hunt will be auctioned when it finishes at Easter.
