The Borris answer to a drive in cinema, the cycle in cinema! Situated in a deserted 1950’s ice cream factory in Tanners Hill, Uthropia boasts converted cow sheds in the yard and even its own mini vegetable patch.
Any who, this Saturday (14.08.2011) Uthropia, Depford, is holding an ‘Exploding Cinema Disposable Show and Bike-in’ vistors can cycle in to witness film showings that have been shot on all genres of conceivable film shooting equipment. Including; mobile phones, flatbed scanners, webcams, flip cams, helmet cams, cctv, stills camera USB microscopes and toys.
The event features outdoor and indoor viewings of the 2010 programme from San Francisco’s Disposable Film Festival , in house video artists Genetic Moo , and music from The Birds Of Paradise.
