For the rest of us

Who's Jack

The 17th Secret Cinema production is upon us and as usual we only know so much about it.

From the 2nd December onwards for three weeks Secret Cinema will be presenting  a bonanza of live cinema, participatory theatre, and cultural exploration before curious audiences and heavily curated surroundings making this event the longest Secret Cinema run to date.

Secret Cinema, created by Future Cinema, make it their business to blur the boundaries between audience and film adding props, decor, actors and more to the scene to make viewers feel they are truly part of what they are watching.

The location is of course currently unknown and will only be told to those who purchase tickets form the Secret Cinema website.

The last event was a screening of Gillo Pontecorvo’s ‘The Battle of Algiers’ earlier this year which drew more than 14,000 viewers to the Old Vic Tunnels underneath Waterloo Station. We are promised that this next one will be ’operatic in scale’.
