Big Egg Hunt Coming To London
Starting this week the biggest Easter egg hunt in history is going to be hitting the streets of London and it’ll be here to stay until the end of March.
As of tomorrow 200 fibre glass giant eggs are going to be dotted in secret places around London each one having been decorated by a different artist. Among those who have taken on the task of decorating the eggs are the Chapman Brothers, Zandra Rhodes, Vivienne Westwood, Ridley Scott and experimental food makers Bompas & Parr.
The eggs will be launched tomorrow morning at 7.30AM in Trafalgar Square and once they’ve been on display for a few weeks will be auctioned off to raise money for Action for Children and Elephant Family. The project is similar to the decorated elephants which were placed around London in 2010 and the upcoming BT Artbox project we told you about a few days ago.
