Best Selling Vinyls Revealed
It was reported a few weeks back that while sales of physical music dropped last year vinyl sales were actually up and this is down to acts like Beady Eye, Radiohead and Morrissey who according to reports today had the best selling vinyls of 2011.
The overal biggest sales went to Liam Gallagher’s band Beady Eye with three of their singles appearing in the top five best selling list with their debut single The Roller coming in at number one. Also appearing in the top 10 were Arctic Monkeys who came in at number six with their single Don’t Sit Down ‘Cause I’ve Moved Your Chair, Kasabian and Radiohead who had the best selling 12″ single of the year.
