Benedict Cumberbatch For Star Trek
Sherlock Holmes TV actor Benedict Cumberbatch has certainly been making his mark on the film world recently with parts in Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, an upcoming roles in The Hobbit and War Horse and now he’s about to add an intergalactic adventure to his IMDb listings in the form of Star Trek.
Along with Noel Clark and existing cast members, Simon Pegg, Zoe Saldana and Alice Eve Cumberbatch is jumping onboard with JJ Abrams’ remake of Star Trek although what character he’ll be playing is currently being kept under wraps.
While it doesn’t have an official title yet the film is being called Star Trek 2 for now and is due for release on 17th May 2013.
