10 Million Missing Out On Refunds
It’s hardly the most widely advertised fact but if your tube journey is delayed by more than 15 minutes you can claim the price of the journey back yet according to a report out today 10 million Londoners are failing to claim refunds on delayed journeys.
Following the worst day of disruption so far this year yesterday when no less than five lines were delayed and part suspended it has been revealed that millions of us are failing to claim money back which totals £20 million. Accord to the TfL rules anyone who’s journey is disrupted by 15 minutes or more are entitled to claim back the price of a single journey however of the 11 million people who were delayed last year only 3.65% bothered to claim.
